therefore we are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer
with a solid mathematical background,
and professional experience working on all phases of an AI/ML project: from
the architecture design to model deployment and monitoring.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work alongside experienced Data
Scientists, ML Engineers and Software Engineers to identify the preferred
AI/ML technologies serving the customers’ needs.
The ideal candidate is motivated to keep up with AI/ML innovations and help
the team acquire robust technical knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of production experience working in Data Science and Software Engineering;
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture;
- Fluent in a at least two mainstream programming language (Python, Scala, Java, C++);
- Experience developing/deploying ML solutions in one of the public cloud platforms (Google preferred);
- Willingness to develop software applications exploiting the latest Generative AI technologies;
- Experience with deployment including knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and related concepts;
- Ability to train junior team members in multiple Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent work experience
- Proficient with Java and JavaScript
- Proficient with Databases
- Strong interests in on-field manufacturing technologies (Gateway, PLC, communication protocols, industrial standards)
- Strong interests in single board computer - single board microcontrollers
- Fluency in Italian & English
- Highly proactive and a strong team player
Nice to have
- Knowledge of at least one NoSQL database between MongoDB, Cassandra
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Knowledge of of Docker, Maven, Git
